Automating Patient Data with Salesforce

Major Technologies Used:

Challenges: An Asian primary care clinic struggled with an outdated document management process, creating several key challenges. Patients faced significant inconvenience and delays due to the time-consuming document retrieval process, often requiring them to return to the clinic two to four business days after their appointments to collect test results. The clinic’s physical document storage system was inefficient, consuming valuable space and generating redundant paperwork. This cumbersome process led to repeated patient complaints and negatively impacted patient satisfaction. Furthermore, the clinic’s staff was burdened with excessive time spent managing physical documentation, diverting their focus from patient care.

Our Solution: To modernize the clinic’s document management, we implemented Salesforce Health Cloud. This involved migrating all physical documentation to a secure, web-based platform, providing centralized storage and easy access. Critically, patients gained the ability to view their test results and other documents from their own devices, eliminating the need for inconvenient in-person visits. The new system also streamlined the upload and storage process, providing clinic employees with an efficient way to manage patient information in real-time. This digital transformation reduced redundant paperwork and freed up valuable time for both staff and patients. As a result, the clinic now benefits from a modernized, efficient, and organized document management system. Patient convenience has been significantly enhanced, with quick and secure access to information from anywhere. Most importantly, the clinic staff now spends less time on tedious administrative tasks, allowing them to dedicate more time to patient care.
